The Early Childhood Division offers Head Start, Early Head Start, Child Care, Universal Pre-K, as well as nutrition and health services to help foster the development of low-income women, infants and children up to age five who are at nutritional risk.

CEO has provided more than 15,000 Rensselaer County residents with Head Start over the past forty years. More than 90 percent of Head Start children live at or below the poverty level and would not receive comprehensive developmental services at such an early age if it were not for CEO.
